You have questions, I have answers!

How often will I get this box?
You will receive MY LIT BOX monthly until you change or cancel your subscription but I promise you will not want to do that!

What will be inside this box?
In addition to a newly released novel, you can expect to receive 1-2 quality book related goodies that will enhance your reading experience whether it's a lovely keepsake to adorn your bookshelf, or something that either smells good, tastes good or makes you feel good!

Why writers of color?
I noticed that when I read list compiling the greatest writers of our time, be it past or present, very few of the writers (1) looked like me or any other minority and (2) they weren’t any of my favorite writers. This is just my effort to shine light on an often overlooked segment of talented writers and put their works into the hands of book lovers worldwide.

What if I already own the book?
To keep this from happening, I will only be supplying newly released novels that were either released the month you receive the shipment or the month prior. While subscribed to My Lit Box I recommend holding off on any book hauls until you see what goodies I have in store for you!

When will my order ship?

Orders will ship  by the 5th of  every month

When will my subscription renew?
Subscriptions renew on the 15th of every month

When is the last day I can place an order to receive the following month’s box?
Unless we are sold out, you have until the last day of the month to place an order and  receive the following month's box. For example, you have until April  30th to place an order and receive the box that ships on May 5th.

How do I gift a subscription?
If the gift subscription is the only item in your basket, be sure to input the recipient’s address and you are done. If you only want to gift them a one-month subscription, be sure to log into your account and cancel the subscription before the 15th or your will be re-billed.

If you have more than one subscription in your cart, you can only input one address upon checking out. Once you complete that transaction, log into your account, add a new address, and apply that address to the subscription you wish to gift. Again, if you only want to gift them a one-month subscription, be sure to log into your account and cancel the subscription before the 15th or you will be re-billed.

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, we  only ship within the United States but we hope to expand in the near future.

What is your refund & return policy? Given that items included in each box are purchased in advance and non-returnable, My Lit Box cannot offer refunds for initial orders or renewals. So you are strongly encouraged to be mindful of your renewal date. Luckily, you are able to log into your personal account and make your desired adjustments such as skipping a renewal or cancelling your subscription altogether. Should your box arrive and the contents are damaged, please email sanura@mylitbox.com and My Lit Box will replace your box with proof of damage at our own expense.
